Chapter 21-25 No. 2

Atticus is the only person not worried about Bob Ewell's threats. Tom is moved to another jail 70 miles away while he awaits his appeal. Atticus tells the kids that in the court of law a while man's word always beat a black man's word. It turns out one man wanted to say not guilty on the jury, a Cunningham. In August Scout is with Aunt Alexandria and her friends having tea when Atticus brings them out and tells them Tom tried to escape and was shot 17 times. When the town finds out Bob Ewell says "One down about 2 more to go".
