Summary-
Jem and Scout get the overall picture of Atticus's parenting style, he teaches moral values such as patience, responsibility and accountability. Jem gains in interest in football and the children have to read to Mrs. Dubose because Jem chops her plants, when she calls Atticus a N*****-Lover. At the end of the chapter Mrs. Dubose passes away.
